IBS Cause Everyone Takes For Granted

You’ve heard about it, or maybe you’ve accidentally come across it in an article. It’s a topic that is still away from the public eye, even though most of us know someone who has or has had this health issue.

IBS means irritable bowel syndrome and can happen at any age. It can have an array of symptoms - cramping, bloating, gas, abdominal pain, diarrhea or constipation - or both.

IBS is a message from the body that something is off. People who experience it can be more sensitive to emotional stress, due to the loss of a dear person, grief, separation, injury, illness, or work-related stress. It's there, and there’s no shame in admitting and accepting it.

There are several ways you can figure out what IBS can be connected to:

- Food: Avoid certain types of food: dairy, gluten, spicy, fried foods.

- Make your meals: instead of buying prepared meals, make them - you'll know all the ingredients and can add, replace, or remove some.

- Check your emotional status: If you have tried to change your diet and still have IBS issues, get into your head and see what is there - your body is giving you signals that you need to confront some obstacles you are avoiding. It can be hard. On the other hand, if you go that way you’ll get much more than managing the IBS.

- Use probiotics: Probiotics can only help with this issue, and you can add them to your diet in the form of food - yogurt, kefir, miso, kimchi, pickles, etc or as a supplement. Studies suggest that Bacillus coagulans is one of the probiotic strains that can benefit people with IBS."

To check your emotional pain or emotional stress is the hardest step to do. It takes most of your courage and strength and is usually neglected.
